At the end of August, along with 23,000 others, I attended VMworld 2016 in Las Vegas. While we were in Las Vegas, along with my EUC Podcast co-hosts, we recorded a Live from VMworld Podcast, Episode #10, you can find here. This year had a lot of good content, the breakouts and show floor was buzzing, and it was a great time networking with colleagues and customers. Earlier this week, with one of our Principal Architects, Bryan Zanoli, I presented on a VMworld 2016 Update Webinar.  You can find more details and the recording for the webinar below!  Enjoy.

Did you miss VMworld 2016? We are here to bring you the highlights!

This year at VMworld 2016 in Las Vegas, there were several key themes in the general sessions and breakouts delivered by VMware and industry thought leaders from Software-Defined Datacenter to End User Computing and everything in between! Join our webinar and learn about VMware’s Software-Defined-Datacenter (SDDC) and Hybrid Cloud strategy, moving toward cross-cloud architectures with VMware Cloud Foundation and the vRealize Suite.

VMware’s datacenter products continue to create industry buzz, thanks to VMware’s innovations around Virtual SAN (VSAN), Networking and Security with VMware NSX, all powered by vSphere and the vRealize suite. VMware’s End User Computing (EUC) business is strong with an emphasis on Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Windows Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) from Airwatch, Hosted and Hybrid Cloud-based Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) with Horizon Air, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and RDSH hosted applications and desktops with VMware Horizon.

Here are the highlights we will cover, presented by Entisys360’s Virtualization Practice Manager, Dane Young, and Principal Architect, Bryan Zanoli:
• VMworld 2016 Highlights and Key Announcements
• VMware Cloud Foundation announcement and VMware’s Vision: Any App, any device, any cloud
• SDDC Highlights: vSphere, VMware Integrated OpenStack, vSphere Integrated Containers, vRealize, VSAN, and NSX
• EUC Highlights: Horizon Air, Horizon Air Hybrid Mode (Project Enzo), Horizon 7, NVIDIA GRID, Workspace ONE, Airwatch EMM/Windows UEM, and TrustPoint (powered by Tanium) and much more!
